Message from the President
The 2011 season see's the junior Burrra's face a lot more challenges. As a whole club l know that we can face all of these and conquer them as we move forward. With the declining number of children living within our township, it has been a hard task to get numbers for all teams. I would like to thank the hard work by all the committee, parents and especially
the kids. We have asked all of you to bring a friend along to come and join us in our pursuit to learn the skills of the great game and enjoy the 2011 season . With the hardwork done so far and all the
boys and girls working hard on the training track we believe we can be VERY competitive this year.
We need your help as:-
Team managers, goal umpires, boundary, umpire escort, Water boys, trainers, runners, interchange stewards, canteen, oranges boy/girl, time keepers And setting up the ground before and after game.
The committee needs your support to help throughout the year.
The BURRAS club will be open every training night from 5.00- 6.00pm, so get out of your car and come over and have a cuppa. Come and meet other passionate Burras and help build the club.
With pride in ourselves and our club we can only go from strength to strength. Remember you only get out what you put in, the more we put in the more we win.
Together as a TEAM THE BURRAS are unbeatable.
Remember Junior Football is about learning and encouraging. Be positive at all times remember kids absorb everything you say and do, they will mirror your positive attitude.
☼ Support and encourage your teammates.
☼ Congratulate your opposition when they do well.
☼ Show your strength and character.
☼ Show everyone why the BURRA won't be beaten.
Do your best.
Enjoy the year and the rewards will come.
Laurie Pincini President 2011
